Today, I got the supplies I needed to put it together my mod. I already had a mic and only needed casing. I bought a hotysync wire with all the pinouts for $12.99. But due to a back order, I was able to get a refund on my shipping. So it cost only $7.99. I dissembled it and cut the USB wire from the Athena connector and then added the UX mic in the case. To fill the whole where the wire lead was, I took the cusion-like material from a regular headphone and put it in the hole and that was it. Now my TX has a mic . I use mics mainly for interviews I do (for projects). I did multiple interviews and did not have a mic so I had to "ad lib" it, which was hard to do.
